Blogmas: And then there was snow.

It snowed today, it was really lovely. I took the bus home from a friend's house and as soon as I got off at the stop and walked a few feet away, I slipped on some icy patch where they were tearing up the road...

AND SPLIT MY FRIGGEN KNEE OPEN.

I got home and cleaned it up, it's swollen and bruised and I've got three big gouges in it but I think it'll be okay. Hurts to straighten, but I fixed it up and I'm sporting some bright Pororo bandages but at least they're cute!

Sorry for the late late blog but it was a bit chaotic getting home and dealing with it.

Stay safe out there, guys! It can be a nightmare.

Do you ever stop and think about what life would be like if you took the left path instead of the right? Or what would happen if you put off doing that thing for one more day instead of doing it right now. Hey, hi, hello.  I'm back after nearly a year. If I can explain the sudden dip in existence: I was collateral damage in my ex-bf being doxxed! All fun times, good stuff, I layed low, lived under a rock, drank some coffee. And like the cicadas I am back and ready to S C R E A M. The good stuff first of course. I still have the cats! Bailey and Stella are still kicking around, getting fat, starting fights with the vet. I just bought them collars for their trip to their new home: England. I got accepted into a university there, due to start almost one year from now. I'm excited, they're oblivious, it's gonna be amazing. I've been seeing more of Korea, I joined a sports team (Go Gaels!), and I've just generally made a nuisance of myself. I teach all grades for after school now, 1st - 6th but they're not terrible at all. It's just a lack of communication with the little ones but they like to give me hugs and tell me I'

The "Adult Thing"

Honesty and accountability. Two hard pills to swallow, but hey, someone's gotta take 'em. So if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna just dump some stuff here and let this mark my ownership of falling headlong into the world's deepest rut and my attempt to step out of it. I've been in my town for coming up on 3 months. And to be honest, I've given up. Not just on being a "great teacher" like I wanted to, but taking care of myself, my apartment, my studies.. I've just given up. It's stupid and I know that. Lately my health has gone to the dogs and I want to blame part of that on going cold turkey off the birth control I've been on for five years. I'm having migraines again, cluster headaches, ice pick headaches. My joints are sore and ache, I'm exhausted. I just want to lie down in my classroom and sleep all the time.
